The Loctite 222 green thread lock is a high-strength adhesive and sealant made for the permanent sealing and locking of threaded fasteners like bolts, screws, and nuts, which need normal disassembly with standard manual tools. This adhesive is specifically designed for locking and sealing threaded fasteners and is perfect for general-purpose maintenance. It is especially appropriate for heavy-duty applications. 

This product usually cures when it is confined in the absence of air between the close-fitted metal areas. You will need to use only a few drops to quickly and securely fix nuts, bolts, and screws in place and prevent them from breaking loose due to vibration or shock. This Loctite 22 adhesive creates a more secure fixture than an ordinary lock nut and forms a complete seal around the thread to prevent corrosion or leakage.
